REVIEW:: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Happy weekend guys! I have been using the Fresh soy face cleanser for about a year now as my double up cleanser after makeup removal. The cleanser is a very gentle gel based cleanser that is suitable for all skin types. It is so gentle that you can even use it on your eyes.

Gel cleansers are my love during the terrible humid summers we experience here in Hong Kong. After using the Fresh soy face cleanser, my face does not only feel thoroughly cleansed but also instantaneously feel soft to the touch.

REVIEW:: THREE cosmetics, eyeliner and more!

Happy weekend everyone! Next up on sharing my crazy haul in Osaka is from THREE cosmetics. I have read many great reviews about THREE's flash performance eyeliner pencils and of course, I had to go pick one up whilst I was in Osaka.

The colour I naturally went for was the flash performance eyeliner pencils in 08 Eye On which is a deep black with subtle silver glitter particles that catches in certain lighting. I tried it on the next day and abandoned the 3CE liquid eyeliner in #Black (that I absolutely adore and have previously blogged about here) for the rest of my stay in Osaka. Of course, this meant that I went back to the THREE store and purchased two other flash performance eyeliner pencils, a back up of 08 and their sub tone defining eye pencil in two different colours, that can act as both eyeliner and eyeshadow.

REVIEW:: Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Skincare Powder

Hello hello! Hope everyone had a good weekend. A trip to Osaka burnt my wallet out as I got way too excited on makeup and skincare products. Haven't really had a chance to try much out yet - but I am so amazed with this new limited edition Shiseido Brightening Skincare Powder from their White Lucent line that I cannot wait to share with everyone!

REVIEW:: Dr. Wu Microinject Hydrating Mask with Hyaluronic Acid

Happy Sunday guys! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Recently, I have found a new hydrating face mask that I absolutely adore - Dr. Wu.

For friends who have not heard of Dr. Wu, it is a Taiwanese clinical skincare brand famous for its hydration products, in particular - their hyaluronic acid serum (the only one I've used that does not smell).

I never believed in spending more than HK$30 on a single piece of face mask so this is definitely the most expensive one I tried - and it works wonders. I got it on a site called AnthonG (they have stores around HK too) and it is cheaper than Mannings at $129 for three pieces and $419 for 12 pieces.

Introducing:: Trilogy Rosehip Oil & Gentle Facial Exfoliant!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Wishing everyone a very prosperous year of the horse!

Work has been insane for me, but I am rejuvenating over the short but sweet Chinese New Year holidays and working on a huge backlog of items (both makeup and skincare) I have been dying to share!

Not long ago, I bought two products from Trilogy on lookfantastic.com - an amazing site based in UK that allows us here in HK/Asia (or anywhere else really) to access brands not found at your locality, at cheaper retail prices and free shipping on top of all that!

This is my first time trying out Trilogy, which is a brand that promotes natural skincare products. A little disclaimer here as I am in no way of the opinion that natural products work more or less than research laboratory skincare from brands like Lancôme or Estée Lauder - I hail whatever works for my skin.
