EMPTIES:: September and October edition with Lancome, Fresh, Kiehls andmore!

How fast has October flown by? It's that time of the month to share my empties again (I know I missed September, oops!)

I've managed to run through quite a bit of hair care and first up - Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo. I've heard great things about the shampoo but it really didn't do much for my hair. It was quite difficult to spread through my hair and 500ml ran out really quickly for this reason. I did like that it was made with botanical ingredients and do not contain the nasty stuff (parabens and whatnot) but seeing as there are plenty of alternatives, I probably won't repurchase this.

Dynamic Duo:: Biore Makeup Remover

Happy Friday everyone!  My facialist have been giving me grief for using an oil-based make up remover and have attributed my constant problems with little whiteheads and clogged pores to my previous holy grail make up remover, the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil.

I know a lot of you use the Shu Uemura as a make up remover, however, although it is the one-step no fuss make up remover that gets rid of everything, my facialist is of the opinion that as it is oil-based, you need to completely emulsify the oil in order to ensure that no residue is left on your face and she believes that even with double-cleansing, if oil is not emulsified properly, it may lead to clogged pores. However, I still love the Shu Uemura to date and use it whenever I am travelling and when I get home really late at night.

Ellis Faas: Ellis Eyes Eyeshadow Review in Photos

 Happy Wednesday everyone! I have been back from Australia for a week now and of course, I owe a (or many) blog post(s) on my purchases over there. As Ellis Faas is one of the premium make-up brands not yet offered in Hong Kong, I picked up two of their eyeshadows in Melbourne (AUD52 each) and the colour is so pigmented and gorgeous that I had to try really hard to not pick up a 3rd and 4th.

The packaging of all Ellis Faas products (save for their powder and liquid foundation) comes in a steel-like bullet shaped pen, which I adore. Other than being sleek, it is very travel friendly - Ellis Faas even provides a pen holder (genius!) for you to hold up to 6 items (take your pick from their lipsticks, concealer, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner) with their Skin Veil Foundation SPF15 (to fit in the middle compartment) as the size is slightly fatter than the bullets and also their powder (to bit fitted at the bottom).

REVIEW: Lancome Visionnaire Yeux and Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector

Happy Wednesday from Melbourne everyone! I was very excited when Lancome released the Visionnaire Yeux along with their Visionnaire line and just had to purchase it just because the Visionnaire Advanced Corrector worked like miracle on my skin and I had high hopes for Visionnaire's formula to work just as well on my problematic eye area.

Before that, let's talk about why I love the Visionnaire formula so much.

Gym attire ft. Lululemon and Nike!

Hello all from Melbourne! This particular post has been something that was on my mind for a while but my work simply didn't allow any time for me to post anything for the past 2 weeks - sorry for that!

So I admit that I am a little gym freak, I go to the gym at any period of time I can - I actually started off with Yoga, and moved into working out at the gym, and now I have worked my work out schedule so that the two just complement each other.

I have recently bought this "Sweat Happy" tank from Blogilates. For those of you who don't know, Cassie is an amazing qualified instructor in Pilates and all sorts of things and produces short work out videos on her YouTube channel, Blogilates. This tank is also created and designed by Cassie, and you may check it out in the link below!
